Anne Arundel County And NAWIC Host Financial Partnership Business Mixer

The Anne Arundel County Minority Business Enterprise Committee and the National Association of Women in Construction recently hosted a Building Financial Partnerships mixer at the Blue Dolphin Seafood Grille Banquet Hall.

Building Financial Partnerships was intended to introduce women to other future business owners who may be looking for advice on how to open business or how to apply for minority certification. Additionally, women were able to build relationships with local lending institutions and celebrate Women in Construction (WIC) Week March 4-10.

The focus of WIC Week is to highlight women as a visible component of the construction industry. WIC Week provides an occasion for NAWIC’s thousands of members across the country to raise awareness of the opportunities available for women in the construction industry and to emphasize the growing role of women in the industry.
