The winner of our M&T Bank Ravens’ closest-to-the-pin hole was Brian Lang. Greg Smith won the Cheeseburger In Paradise 50/50 contest.

The 2012 tournament was chaired by Karl Appel of Gardiner and Appel Group and co-chaired by Rick Sutton of the Bank of Glen Burnie. Our committee included Dana Eckert, George McDowell, Liz Callahan, John Barranco, Kelley McNey, Diane Neighoff and Sigrid Kingsbury. Special thanks go to Tom Morris of Antwerpen Volkswagen for sponsoring the hole-in-one car for the tournament.

George McDowell of Coldwell Banker sponsored a special treat for the tournament. He organized the attendance of two Ravens cheerleaders, who were on site for photos and autographs. Brian Boru and Barranco & Sons Funeral Home sponsored singer Angie Miller, who often performs at Brian Boru, to sing during the banquet. Victory Awards sponsored our trophies. PC Repair provided goodie bags, which were actually golfer’s shoe bags.

Our Eagle Sponsors included the chamber’s two Platinum-level sponsors, Dynasplint Systems and BankAnnapolis. Two of our gold-level sponsors were also Eagles, and they were Bank of Glen Burnie and Garry’s Grill. Chesapeake Telephone Systems, Inc. was also an Eagle-level sponsor.

PNC Bank was a Birdie sponsor, and they are also a Gold-level sponsor.

Our par sponsors included Arnold Jiffy Lube, Comprehensive Financial Services Insurance Agency, LLC, Gardiner and Appel Group, Inc., Jing Ying Institute of Kung Fu & Tai Chi and Ledo Pizza and Pasta. For a complete listing of sponsors, please visit our website at www.severnaparkchamber.com.
