There are a ton of food events around town this summer, whether you want to dine under the stars, eat free Chick-fil-A or attend a major food truck festival.

  1. Dinner Under The StarsWednesdays Through September 18

Wednesday nights on West Street are a vibrant scene of dining, craft beers, dancing, fine wines and a sense of community. On Wednesdays in the summertime, participating restaurants open extended outdoor seating for patrons. West Street, Annapolis. 6:00pm-10:00pm. More info.

  1. Sizzlin’ Summer CookoutFriday, June 28

Kick off your summer with a cookout at the Greater Severna Park & Arnold Chamber of Commerce. There will be hot food on the grill, side dishes from Laureen Vance of Effortless Bistro Personal Chef, ice cream from Bruster’s and popcorn from Pam Negron.   1. Star-Spangled Restaurant WeekSunday, July 7 through Saturday, July 13

The Greater Severna Park & Arnold Chamber of Commerce is hosting Restaurant Week the first full week of July. There are more than 15 restaurants participating, which can be viewed on the event’s Facebook page. Support local restaurants, bakeries and pubs, all while getting a great deal.   1. Cow Appreciation DayTuesday, July 9

Dress udderly crazy, and you can get free Chick-fil-A on July 9. It’s easy: dress in cow apparel, wear your costume to Chick-fil-A before 7:00pm and receive a free entree. Chick-fil-A. Open-7:00pm. More info.

  1. PYY Food Truck ThursdayThursday, July 11

Whether you’re coming by boat or by car, you’re invited to PYY Marine’s first Food Truck Thursday. There will be live music and plenty of food trucks available. The event is BYOB. The first 50 people to purchase food will receive a special gift from PYY Marine. PYY Marine. 4:00pm-9:00pm. More info.

  1. UM BWMC Crab FeastThursday, July 18

Support the University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center at a crab feast at Kurtz’s Beach. All proceeds from the event benefit UM BWMC. There will be live music, an all-you-can-eat buffet and a cash bar available. In addition to crabs, the buffet includes pit beef, ham and other picnic favorites. Kurtz’s Beach. 6:00pm-9:00pm.   1. VFW 2462 Crab FeastSaturday, July 20

The VFW 2462 is hosting a crab feast, but that’s only the beginning. The menu features fried chicken, corn on the cob, potato salad, coleslaw, macaroni salad and dessert. There will also be ice-cold beer available. Entry price is a $50 donation per person. VFW 2462. 1:00pm-6:00pm. Entry is $50 per person. More info.

  1. Maryland Food Truck FestivalSunday, July 21

We hope you’re hungry! The Maryland Food Truck Festival is coming to Kinder Farm Park in July. There will be more than 20 food trucks to choose from offering a wide variety of cuisine, including Greek, Italian, barbecue, seafood, pizza, Mexican, Korean and more. The event also features a vendor village and kids zone. Tickets are $7 in advance and $10 at the gate. Parking is free, and the gate fee will be waived for this event.   1. 7th Annual Kamryn Lambert Crab FeastSunday, July 28

The Kamryn Lambert Foundation is hosting its seventh annual crab feast. The signature summertime event includes crabs, beer, music, raffles and more. The event is limited to 250 people, and tickets are $60 per person. Kurtz’s Beach. Noon-4:00pm. Tickets are $60. More info.

  1. All You Can Eat Crab FeastSaturday, August 3

Long Point Hall is hosting an all-you-can-eat crab feast. This event has various ticket prices for crab eaters, non-crab eaters and kids. The ticket price includes beer, soda, hamburgers, hot dogs and corn. Bring a side dish or dessert to share with everyone! The event is limited to 100 people. Long Point Hall. 2:00pm-6:00pm.   1. Lake Shore-Severna Park Rotary Crab FeastThursday, August 15

For the sixth year, the Lake Shore-Severna Park Rotary is hosting a crab feast. The event features all-you-can-eat crabs, pit beef, fried chicken, hot dogs and assorted sides.
