Green Hornets Standout To Represent USA Baseball

Thirteen-year old Tyler Blohm, a rising eighth grader at Monsignor Slade School and standout pitcher this summer for the 13U Green Hornets select baseball team, has been selected as one of 18 players on USA Baseball’s North Atlantic Team, comprised of the best under-13 baseball players in all coastal states from Maine to Virginia. The 6’0”, 145-lb Blohm was a force on the mound and at the plate for the dominant 13U Green Hornets this summer, helping his team to a 27-1 record and league championship within Baltimore Metro Baseball, and a 54-5 record overall. Blohm will travel to the Team USA baseball complex in Cary, NC over the weekend of Sep. 9 to compete for a spot on the 13U USA National Team.
