Have You Seen Us Online?

Have you visited the Severna Park Voice website recently? The front page still includes some of the favorite features everyone is used to seeing like the slide show, and we’ve got the “Latest News” section highlighting all the fresh info we get. But there’s so much more going on!
Our blog is the place where visitors will find the latest stories and updates. Ellen Kinsella, our Director of Digital Media and Facebook Maven, has been doing a terrific job keeping those pages fresh and full of great content!
As we continue to improve and expand our digital presence, including launching a site for our sister publication, the Pasadena Voice, we also want to encourage the community to get involved.
How can you do that? It’s easy!
Head over to Facebook and look up Severna Park Voice – then become a fan. Ellen keeps our Facebook pages up to date and active. You can also add your own comments, post notices of upcoming events, and all the usual Facebook activities. And don’t forget to tell a friend!
Next, point your browser to www.severnaparkvoice.com and take a look around. Sure, you’ll find all the great stories and photos we’ve been covering in the Severna Park area for over 30 years, but don’t miss the new and always expanding Photo Galleries. If you log on, you can add items to our calendar – it’s one of the most active areas of our site, and sure to be noticed – and you can add your comments to stories, photos and blog posts. We want to hear your thoughts!
But wait, there’s still more! We are a community paper, and what makes us great is the very community we serve, our local people. We know you’re out and about with your family at sporting events, store openings, community gatherings and so much more, and we’d like to see your photos. Send us your good quality, community-oriented pictures along with a note about the photo and we just might feature your pics on our website!
Did your child’s team win the big game? Send us the picture, then share the link with your friends and family all over the country! Did you attend a really terrific community event? Tell us about it, and share your photos!
The Voice is what community is all about today. The print paper will still include all the community stories, sports news and events that everyone knows and loves, but with the web we can do so much more, especially if we have your help!
