Homestead Gardens Celebrates Annapolis Tomato Festival

Homestead Gardens of Davidsonville will celebrate their third annual Annapolis Tomato Festival and Chesapeake Chili Cook-Off on September 10. The event will begin at 12:00pm and will include a chili cook-off, a salsa contest, and a Ledo pizza-eating contest. Live entertainment will be provided by local blues artists Andy Poxon and The Sly 45 Trio. Guests will also be able to enjoy samples of fresh tomatoes, salsa, and chili.

A portion of the profits will go to Save the Coconuts, an Annapolis-based non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds and awareness to fight breast cancer and make life easier for those living with the disease.
