Hospice Cup Calling For Local Artists

Hospice Cup, Inc. is calling for all artists, from painters to photographers, to submit work to be selected as the official image of Hospice Cup XXX, which will take place in Annapolis on September 24, 2011.
The deadline to submit artwork is January 15, 2011, and the judging will be done by board members and hospice sailors and announced at a special artists showcase on January 30, 2011. Artists may submit their original work of “Racing and Sailing Representations” to a participating hospice in the DC, VA, MD area or by contacting Karma O’Neill at 410-919-8393.
The winning artwork will be the representational image for the 2011 Hospice Cup event and will appear in promotional advertisements, videos, event t-shirts, and posters. While the chosen image will become the property of Hospice Cup, Inc., the winning artist will receive full recognition. The image will also be donated to the 2011 Shore Party Auction following the Hospice Cup XXX race to help raise funds for hospice services.
