Jack Gunther Receives Buzz Platt Player Award

Severna Park Green Hornets football player Jack Gunther was among a select group of 14U football players from around the county to receive the prestigious Buzz Platt Player Award.

One 14U player from each Anne Arundel Youth Football Association receives the Buzz Platt Player Award, which is named after the founder of the AAYFA, in recognition of his excellence in play, character and sportsmanship.

The players were presented their awards in a ceremony at Severna Park High School on November 10. Gunther will attend Severna Park as a freshman next year.
