Misuraca To Lead SP Cheerleading

Severna Park athletic director Dave Lanham emailed a statement on April 10 announcing the school's hiring of Rosalia Misuraca as varsity cheerleading coach:

Severna Park High School proudly announces Ms. Rosalia Misuraca (class of ’09) as the new cheerleading coach at Severna Park High School. Ms. Misuraca is extremely knowledgeable in the sport and has been very successful in serving as an assistant coach at Severna Park High School since 2015. Ms. Misuraca earned her Bachelor’s Degree at Towson University and her Master’s Degree at Loyola University. She is currently a School Counselor at North County High School. SPHS is pleased to have Ms. Misuraca join the proud tradition of excellence at SPHS as the newly named Head Coach for Cheerleading.

“I’m beyond proud and excited to be serving the Falcon Family as the new Varsity Cheerleading Coach,” said Misuraca. “Cheerleading has been a part of my life for over 15 years, and I am so happy to continue working with the talented student-athletes at SPHS. I look forward to continuing the success we have started, and continuing progress as a program this year.”
