Poison Ivy Win Third-Fourth Club Title Over Hurricanes

The Poison Ivy defeated the Hurricanes to win the Green Hornets third/fourth-grade girls basketball club championship. Poison Ivy players Emerson Accinelli, Maria Bragg, Kacey Callaway, Laurel Coard, Jocelyn DiAngelo, Maggie Goodman, Abby Kelliher, Stella Kiddney and Rowan Laughon were coached by Brandon Goodman and Dan Kelliher. Offensively, the team was led by Bragg, Kelliher and Laughon. Kiddney and Coard were primary ball-handlers. DiAngelo and Accinelli led with defense, and Callaway and Goodman sparked offense by causing turnovers with pressure defense.

“This group of girls worked hard in practice all year and listened to their coaches,” said coach Goodman. “It was a fun group of girls to coach.”
