Severna Park Boys Basketball To Support One Of Their Own With Brain Cancer Awareness Night Feb. 7

Posted

The Severna Park boys basketball program is hosting a brain cancer awareness night for its February 7 home games against Northeast.

The event is being held in support of Gabi Pellicani, the four-year-old granddaughter of Severna Park head coach Paul Pellicani. Gabi was diagnosed with brain cancer in November.

A Go-Fund-Me page has been set up to help cover the expense of Gabi’s ongoing medical treatments and ease the burden on the Pellicani family, which includes Gabi, her parents Nick and Fabiana, and her brother Antonio.

Attendees for the 3:45 JV game and 5:00 varsity game are encouraged to wear gray and asked to consider making a donation to the Mid-Atlantic Make-A-Wish Foundation. There will be donation boxes at the door, and donations can also be made online.
