The 27th Annual Annapolis Leukemia Cup Is Coming!

Posted

For more than 25 years, participants in the Leukemia Cup have been sailing, power-boating, paddling and partying in communities nationwide in support of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). Sailors and non-sailors alike come together for an exciting weekend of events that help save the lives of cancer patients. This national event has raised more than $66 million nationwide since its inception.

More than 90 boat owners have registered for the 2019 Annapolis Leukemia Cup. Attendees look forward to expert races put on by committees from Eastport Yacht Club and Annapolis Yacht Club.

Enjoy the Leukemia Cup regatta summer gala, with the theme “Red Sky at Night,” at the newly rebuilt Annapolis Yacht Club on Friday, May 31, at 6:30pm. This Annapolis Leukemia Cup tradition is open to the public and features dinner, drinks, music and an exciting live and silent auction. Join your friends on the waterfront in your favorite summer cocktail attire. Early-bird tickets are $115 and proceeds benefit LLS and its mission to cure blood cancers, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.

The after-race party, Rock The Dock for a Cure, will be held at Eastport Yacht Club on June 1 with more than 400 sailors and community members in attendance. This is a rare “open to the public” event, so don’t miss out. Tickets are $25 through May 31 and $35 at the door.
