Stone Scapes And Design Wins Major Award

During the first weekend of the 2011 Maryland Home and Garden Show, the Timonium Fairgrounds was bustling with home owners anxious to gather ideas for their next project. Some attended to look at the beautiful displays, others used the show to shop different vendors, and a few knew exactly who they were looking for from attending past shows.

One booth that was a destination for many was the display created by Stone Scapes and Design. “We’ve been attending this show for a number of years now and it’s nice to hear from a potential customer that they remember us from previous years and that they want to come in to see what we’ve done this year. It makes all our hard work readying the display worthwhile knowing it had that type of impression on someone,” commented Kim Himmel-Morris, Vice President of Stone Scapes and Design.

The display didn’t go unnoticed by the judges either. Stone Scapes and Design captured first place prizes for Best Craftsmanship and Best in Division from the Maryland Home and Garden Show judges.
