Happy Friday, Severna Park! Well, with school starting on Tuesday, summer is officially coming to a close. Don’t get too sad yet! Here are a few fun activities you can enjoy over the long weekend.

Jeff Herbert @ Hatton Regester Green – Sunday, September 2

The concerts are back at Hatton Regester Green this weekend! On Sunday, enjoy the musical talents of Jeff Herbert, an accomplished bagpiper, singer and guitarist whose music ranges from Celtic to folk, pop and rock. Hatton Regester Green, intersection of Baltimore-Annapolis Boulevard, Evergreen Road and Holly Avenue. 4:00pm. Free. More info.

RennFest – Saturday, September 1; Sunday, September 2; and Monday, September 3

While many businesses are closed, head over to RennFest and get lost in Oxfordshire circa 1529. The village has a new mayor, and an unexpected visitor surprises the king. Also, Monday is Senior Day, so those ages 62 and older get in for free! Maryland Renaissance Festival, 1821 Crownsville Road, Annapolis. 10:00am-7:00pm. Free-$19. More info.
