It’s going to be quiet around town this weekend, Severna Park, but there are still a few excuses to get out and about.

Saturday, July 27

Asbury United Methodist Church Flea Market and Yard Sale Fundraiser

8:00am-Noon

Asbury UMC will have a variety of items for sale, including gently household appliances, kitchenware, pottery, crystal, decorative pieces, linens, holiday decorations, accessories, purses, baby/children toys and gear, games, sports gear, hardware/tools, and books and CDs/DVDs. Money generated from the sale will help the church maintain its facility for rental to community civic and support groups. Find more information on Facebook.

Pre-Masters/Adult Fitness Swimming

9:30-10:30am

The Masters swim team at the Severna Park Community Center runs individualized workouts geared to optimize each person's skill level. Stroke technique, endurance swimming and goal setting are emphasized throughout the session. You must be able to swim 50 yards without stopping and have knowledge of all four competitive strokes. Practices are ongoing every Saturday beginning at 9:30am. Find more information on Facebook.

Tropical Family Fun Day

11:00am-3:00pm

Join Trinity Bible Church for family fun, food, games and music. There will be a bouncy house, dunk tank and more. Find more information on Facebook.

Fifth Annual Car, Truck and Bike Show at the Columbian Center

10:00am-4:00pm

Come out and enjoy the collector cars, trucks and motorcycles, and enjoy the interesting people that care for them at this annual show hosted by the Knights of Columbus. Guests will also enjoy DJ music, door prizes, silent auction and a 50-50 raffle. There will be a snack bar and bake sale inside the cool, air-conditioned hall.
