Celebrations of the country’s semiquincentennial anniversary continue locally this month with a piano recital presented by Woods Memorial Presbyterian Church staff member Junghoon Park. Titled “Americana 250: A Pianorama,” the recital will mark the dedication of the church’s new concert grand piano.
The program will feature works by Vladimir Horowitz, Leonard Bernstein, George Gershwin and others.
The free concert will take place on Sunday, September 20, at 2:00pm. Tickets are not required. A love offering will be collected to support the Woods Church music program. For more information, go to www.woodschurch.org.
