Ana Hernandez Valcarcel, a member of Broadneck High School’s class of 2024, will have a bit of help as she embarks on the next stage of her educational journey at Anne Arundel Community College. Dunkin’ presented her with a $2,500 scholarship last month.

In partnership with Scholarship America, 50 students throughout the Washington, D.C., Maryland and Virginia area (DMV) earned scholarships that will help them pursue a part-time or full-time undergraduate degree at the institution of their choice. Recipients were selected based on their academic record, demonstrated leadership skills, and overall commitment to their school and the local community.

To date, the Dunkin’ DMV Regional Scholarship Program has awarded $350,000 in scholarships to 140 students in the DMV.

“The Dunkin' Regional Scholarship is part of our ongoing commitment to empowering young adults and giving them an opportunity to achieve their goals in life,” said Jamie Struwe, Dunkin' field marketing manager. “We are proud to continue the tradition of furthering students’ educational goals in our community and help lead them to a bright future.”

The 2024 Dunkin’ Regional Scholarship recipients were honored at an awards ceremony on July 24 at Nationals Park.
