Details Revealed For July 5 Parade

It’s almost time for the Greater Severna Park and Arnold Chamber of Commerce’s Independence Day parade, which will be held this year on July 5.

The festivities will kick off with the decorated bike contest for kids at the chamber office (1 Holly Avenue) from 9:15am to 10:00am.

Entries will then depart from Sr. Martin’s-in-the-Field Episcopal Church and Our Shepherd Lutheran Church as the parade begins at 10:00am. The parade will commence from Benfield Road to Evergreen, and left on Riggs Avenue. From there, the floats and participants will turn right on B&A Boulevard, left on Cypress Creek Road and then turn left into Sunrise of Severna Park.

Everyone is welcome to get comfortable on their favorite lawn chair or picnic blanket, dress in their patriotic attire if they wish, and cheer on the many parade participants.
