Elks Donate To Shore Acres Playground

On March 11, the Broadneck Elks presented a check for $6,000 to the Shore Acres Improvement Association (SAIA) for the upgrade of its playground. This donation was made possible via the Elks National Foundation Beacon Grant program. The Beacon Grant is an opportunity for lodges to start a new, ongoing, Elks-led charitable project. Broadneck Elks Exalted Ruler Jolinda Murray presented the check to SAIA president Johns Bahn during a happy hour hosted at Broadneck Elks 2608. Also present were (left to right) Valerie Weber, Johns Bahn, Steve Murray, Jolinda Murray, Bill Robison and Ken Chapman.
