On Friday, July 31, the Greater Severna Park and Arnold Chamber of Commerce (GSPACC) held its monthly TGIF cookout for members and guests. The July cookout was sponsored by the Severna Park Voice on behalf of Walk the Walk Foundation (WTWF), the Voice’s 2026 Nonprofit of the Year. Every summer, WTWF invites community members to stuff backpacks full of school supplies for a fee to bless Anne Arundel County children in need. In 2025, WTWF distributed 1,500 backpacks throughout the county. The July cookout generated $1,675 in donations, which funded 47 backpacks. To learn more about WTWF, go to www.wtwf.org.
