The holidays are a great time to shop local and support small businesses in the community, and area holiday markets provide gift-givers the opportunity to shop especially small and local by supporting neighborhood artists and vendors. There are many vendor markets coming up around town that will showcase the one-of-a-kind creations of local artisans, as well as delicious food, baked goods, holiday décor, visits with Santa and so much more. Check out a few of the area’s upcoming holiday markets for a chance to discover unique gifts for everyone on your list this season.

Advent Market Celebration

Now in its fourth year, St. John the Evangelist’s Advent Market Celebration will not only showcase a lineup of vendors but also a variety of food trucks, photos with Santa, live music and caroling, free pony rides, a petting zoo and more. Attendees can shop dozens of handmade crafters and artisans. Pony rides begin at noon, and the petting zoo will open at 1:00pm.

Holiday Vendor Fair

Kick off your December festivities with a holiday vendor fair at Park Books. Peruse handmade items created by over 20 vendors, artisans and crafters. Enjoy a free taste of Park Books' new special blend coffee, check off some holiday shopping and discover local treasures.

Holiday Craft Bazaar

Broadneck High School
1265 Green Holly Drive, Annapolis

Supporting student-led clubs and organizations at Broadneck High School (BHS), the Broadneck Holiday Craft Bazaar typically draws over 2,000 shoppers annually. This year, the 40th annual event will feature handcrafted items from over 150 vendors, a bake sale, a raffle, concessions for breakfast and lunch items, and more. A $2 entry fee will directly support BHS athletics.

Vintage Christmas Market

December 7 and 14, 2:00pm to 6:00pm

More than 120 small businesses will come together for an outdoor Christmas market over two Saturdays in December (about 60 each date). Shop local among the vendors and creators, and stock up on limited seasonal produce, farm fresh eggs and other goods. Food and beverages will be available for purchase, Santa will be roaming the market, admission is free, and leashed dogs are allowed.

Admission is free to the third annual Annapolis Holiday Market, which will take place along the waterfront in the heart of downtown. More than 120 vendors will offer a wide range of unique local finds spanning art, crafts, food and handmade gift items. Bring your camera for free photos with Santa Thursday through Saturday. On Thursday evening, the shopping will extend beyond the market and across downtown as stores stay open late for Midnight Madness. Saturday evening shoppers can also enjoy dazzling decorated boats during the Eastport Yacht Club’s lights parade.

Severna Park Farmers Market Christmas Market

The Severna Park Farmers Market regular season ended in late October, but the annual Christmas Market is just around the corner. Over 20 vendors will be present, offering Christmas décor, baked goods, unique gifts and handmade socks, hats and scarves, as well as a variety of fresh foods including jam, pickles, vegetables, eggs, meat, wine and liquor.

Holiday Market At The Station

Shop local for gifts from among a variety of vendors and bring the kids for photos with Santa, holiday face painting and more. The Station is a local market spot along the B&A Trail, home to Yoga Barn and The Coffee Trailer.
