Children’s Events Offer Easter Fun Around Town

Easter is just around the corner, and with it, so too are many events throughout the greater Severna Park area for kids of all ages to have fun hunting for Easter eggs, visiting with the Easter Bunny, and learning about the significance of the holiday.

Snacks With The Easter Bunny
Sunday, March 22, 2:00-4:00pm
Earleigh Heights Volunteer Fire Company
Bring your kiddos to the Earleigh Heights Volunteer Fire Company for this free event where children can enjoy snacks, beverages, crafts, activities and fire prevention materials. Lunch items will be available for sale, and donation boots will be placed around the hall for those who would like to help offset costs. Easter Journey

Severna Park Baptist Church
Experience the Easter story as a family at this free annual event that offers a guided journey through the stations of Holy Week. Each station is interactive, with dramatic presentations for children and adults. Kids can enjoy crafts, an egg hunt and photos with the Easter Bunny. Friends of Kinder Farm Park Easter Egg Hunt

Kinder Farm Park
This rain-or-shine event is for children ages 8 and under, with Easter egg hunts split by age and starting at 1:00pm, 1:30pm, 2:00pm and 2:30pm. Meet the Easter Bunny and enjoy the company of friendly barnyard animals as well. The cost is $10 per child, and tickets must be purchased in advance online at www.kinderfarmpark.org. Park gate fees apply.

Bring your own camera for free photos with the Easter Bunny at Homestead Gardens. Pets are welcome to have their pics taken, too, and kids and kids at heart can look forward to meeting and petting real baby bunnies in the store.

Severna Park Community Center
An Easter egg hunt like no other – grab your swimsuits and get ready to make a splash hunting for treasure in the swimming pools at the Severna Park Community Center! Participants can collect floating eggs and toys during a safe and supervised evening of fun. Kids can also enjoy festive treats and a special visit from the Easter Bunny. Certified lifeguards will be on duty. The cost is $13 per child and registration is required at www.spcommunitycenter.org/events.

Brunch With The Bunny And Egg Hunt

Saints Baptist Church
Bring your appetites for brunch with the Easter Bunny hosted by Saints Baptist Church at the Severna Park Elks Lodge. The event is completely free, and kids can look forward to an Easter egg hunt as well.
