Kinder Playground Gets Facelift

Since its construction in 1998, the Kinder Farm Park playground has been enjoyed by thousands of kids. It’s service life had finally come to an end, according to the Friends of Kinder Farm Park, an advocacy group that supports the park through fundraising and volunteer activities.
Park workers began dismantling the 22-year-old playground in December to make way for a new one. Starting in late January, construction began. Work will be completed this spring. The new playground will incorporate swings, slides, climbing equipment and farm-themed pieces.
