Fill-The-Box Donation Drive

The Severna Park Kiwanis is holding its next fill-the-box event for the Kiwanis Kids Closet at Belle Grove Elementary throughout June at Garry’s Grill. Requested items include diapers, wipes, baby food and bottles, baby blankets, and hygiene items (toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap, deodorant and shampoo). Have a meal, support Garry’s Grill and donate baby supplies for the box.

“We are so thankful that we can still be out supporting the community, with our members and members of our high school Key Clubs,” said Rachel Jacobs, board member and past president of Severna Park Kiwanis.

The club is also selling Anne Arundel County coverlets for $40, a $10 discount. All money raised goes back to the community and the club’s Teenager of the Year scholarship. They make excellent graduation and wedding gifts. Support local!

Tio Pepe Restaurant Delivery Fundraiser Thank You

The Severna Park Kiwanis and Tio Pepe Restaurant in Baltimore would like to thank those who ordered food and picked it up at the Elks parking lot on May 15. The fundraiser was a great success. The club had 36 orders, several of which included multiple meals. All the money raised will go back into the community for the Kiwanis’ annual scholarship and other community efforts.
