Do you feel like your query letter goes into a vortex? Join this virtual-only meeting to hear award-winning writer Lauren Burke Meyer break down the elements of a quality query letter. Meyer has found early luck with query-writing, but like you, still has to battle a publishers’ slush pile. Get her advice and hear how her success in media pitching has helped with crafting query letters. Following her presentation, there will be time for questions and answers, and group discussion and swapping of query-writing tips.

Lauren Burke Meyer is an award-winning writer, a two-time columnist, and the children’s book author of “Charlie STEPs UP to LACROSSE.” She's the founder of the Lauren's Law blog and a regular contributor of The Naptown Scoop, Chesapeake Family magazine, and The Severna Park Voice. Lauren’s work has also appeared on Buzzfeed, as well as in The Capital, Jack & Jill magazine, edCircuit, among other outlets. She’s a senior-level communications professional with a proven track record of generating thousands of press clippings for clients, global design software provider Vectorworks, Inc., and herself.
