Question Of The Month: Belvedere Elementary School

Each month, the Severna Park Voice poses a question to a local fifth-grade class. This month, students from Mrs. Geoghegan’s class at Belvedere Elementary School answered the question:

“What do you think you’ll be doing in 20 years, and why?”

I think I am going to play major league softball because I am really good at softball and I love to play! I will also have two kids. The boy’s name will be Jackson and the girl’s name will be Nancy.

In 20 years, I will be playing soccer with my friends because I like to play soccer with them at the park and at school and I am good at soccer because I play a lot at my house.

I think in 20 years, I’m going to be in the NBA because ever since I was a baby, basketball was my favorite sport. I watch basketball a lot and practice with my family. I know it won’t be easy, but I will try my best!

In 20 years, I will be a teacher because my mom is a teacher and I want to be just like her. I also want to get a house and raise a family.

I think in 20 years, I will be a professional photographer taking amazing photos of animals, people or families. I think I will be a photographer because I am good at taking photos, I work really hard, and I practice two times a week.

I also really like Liverpool, which is a soccer team in the Premier League. I would really like to play in Liverpool because they have the best soccer/football.

I think I will be hosting gingerbread parties in 20 years, because it is our family holiday tradition to host one every year and every year there are more people! I will have my own house, have a pool in my backyard, and volunteer at an animal shelter. I will be able to do this because I will study zoology in college and work hard, because as the saying goes, “If you work hard, you can do anything you set your mind to.”
