Restaurants Offer Deals For Football Season

Football season is underway, which means it’s time for fandom and good-natured banter among friends. And no season is complete without good food and drinks to compliment the experience. Check out these restaurant catering options and specials to enhance your game days.

Blackwall Barn & Lodge, Blackwall Hitch, and Smashing Grapes

This season, these three restaurants are partnering with Titan Catering to offer the Touchdown Bundle, which feeds 10 to 12 people for $350. The bundle includes the following:

• Three flatbreads (caprese, margherita, Virginia ham, or buffalo chicken)
  
  
• Twenty-four wings (buffalo, cherry pepper hot sauce, barbecue, or Old Bay)
  
  
• One dip (buffalo chicken, spinach and artichoke, chips and dip trio, or bruschetta)
  *Upgrade to crab dip for additional fee
  
  
• One sandwich platter (ham, turkey and roast beef combo, savory sliders, or braised short rib sliders)
  *Upgrade to crab cake sliders for additional fee
  
  
• One grazing board (charcuterie or fruit and cheese)
  *Upgrade to shrimp cocktail for additional fee
  
  
• One dessert platter (cookies or brownies)
  
  

Titan Catering is also offering whole-roasted suckling pigs, served with saffron vegetable paella and accompanied with a house-made barbecue sauce.

Want to do something special on game day? These restaurants have the expertise to cater a variety of events, said Beth Sova, the catering director and assistant events manager for Blackwall Barn & Lodge.

“I’ve done backyard barbecues where we set up in the backyard and people graze,” Sova said. “We’ve set up a buffet/bar on the waterfront and it’s full-service.”

Garry’s Grill

Garry’s Grill offers several catering options including the backyard barbecue package that includes jumbo wings, pulled pork sliders, grilled burgers, homemade macaroni and cheese, Caesar salad and asparagus for $25 per person. Customers can choose to add plates, eating utensils, napkins, serving tongs or spoons. Other items are also available: St. Louis ribs, hot dogs, Italian sausages, baked beans and more.

Severna Park Taphouse

For National Football League and National Hockey League games, Severna Park Taphouse has the following dine-in specials: $15 for domestic buckets, $13 for domestic beer towers, $5 Deep Eddy game shots, $7 for a jumbo dog and fries, $7 for cheese balls, $10 for a basket of nachos, and $10 for wings.
