Round Bay Proves It’s Got Talent

Rising second-grader Amelia Kurtzman belted out Lady Gaga's "Million Reasons," with an assist from Amelia’s mom, Kim. Amelia dressed the part too, donning a pink cowgirl hat inspired by Lady Gaga’s album “Joanne.”

Brothers Kelson and Wyatt Engel sang Bob Marley’s "Three Little Birds" and reminded the audience "every little thing is gonna be alright." The Engel brothers were two of the nearly 60 children who participated in beach camp 2023.

Cat Ponder and her mom, Trisha Willard, danced for the crowd. The mother-daughter duo was one of 13 acts at the annual Round Bay talent show.

Children of all ages convened at the Round Bay beach pavilion for the community’s annual talent show on July 13. Traditionally the culmination of "beach camp," the talent show invites friends and families of the campers to be entertained by various acts.

This year’s theme was "The Stars of Round Bay." Kids decorated their own gold stars and created a "red carpet" in chalk paint during beach camp.
