Severna Park Farmers Market Opens This Saturday For 2025 Season

A true sign of the arrival of warmer days, the Severna Park Farmers Market will officially open for its 2025 season this Saturday, April 19.

Located at the Park & Ride at the intersection of Ritchie Highway and Jones Station Road, the Severna Park Farmers Market will run every Saturday, rain or shine, from 8:00am to noon through the fall.

For over 30 years, the market has offered local shoppers a wide selection of fresh produce, meat, eggs, baked goods, flowers, handmade goods, and more from Maryland-based farmers and makers.

For opening weekend, some vendors are planning to offer special items for Easter as well, including décor, flower baskets and tasty treats.

Many of the vendors at the Severna Park Farmers Market have participated year after year – some for more than 25 – and are staples in the local community. A lineup of participating vendors has been announced on the market’s Facebook page, including:

  • Pat’s Produce and Gourds: offering peas and lettuces in the spring, followed by summertime berries, corn, tomatoes, zucchini, melons and more
  • Morris Hill Farm: in addition to chicken, duck, lamb, pork, turkey, beef and eggs, this year, Morris Hill will introduce serving hot breakfast at the market
  • Zahradka Family Farm: vegetables, fruits, eggs and seasonal décor
  • My Nana’s Kitchen: offering products reminiscent of grandma’s kitchen ranging from jams and jellies to eggs, cheese and more
  • Green View Hydroponics: hydroponic lettuces and herbs
  • The Ville’s Dills: variety of fresh pickles, hot sauces and spice rubs
  • The Breadery: a vendor for over two decades, supplying a variety of freshly baked breads as well as rolls, sweet breads, muffins and cookies
  • Vera’s Original Bakery: unique baked goods including Brazilian cheese bread, biscotti, scones, empanadas and more
  • Baltimore Waffle Company: serving hot, fresh, cast-iron Belgian sugar waffles
  • Joyce’s Flowers & Herbs: a vendor for over 25 years, Joyce’s offers locally grown plants and herbs along with bouquets of fresh cut flowers
  • Rosy Side Farm: offering cut flowers by the stem, plants and seasonal vegetables
  • Whistle Stop Winery: Calvert County-based winery offering a variety of red, white and sweet wines
  • Lyon Rum: Eastern Shore distillery offering a full line of rums and rum liqueurs
  • Spoiled Dog Bakery: homemade, human-grade dog treats without preservatives
  • Evie & Park: husband-and-wife duo making hand-poured soy candles and wax melts
  • Chesapeake Fiber Crafters: handmade socks, yarn and bags, as well as live demonstrations
  • Anne Arundel Beekeepers Association: rotating beekeepers offering honey and honey products
  • Anne Arundel County Master Gardeners, University of Maryland Extension: educating marketgoers about gardening
  • Three Blue Bunnies: wearable artwork from recycled denim, upcycled potholders, and hand-sewn tote bags
