Soccer Standout Earns Slew Of Awards

Gordie Bernlohr was named Landmark Conference MVP for men’s soccer after scoring two game-winning goals in the tournament.

Severna Park High School graduate Gordie Bernlohr is making a name for himself at Catholic University in Washington, D.C. A senior, Bernlor was named Landmark Conference Offensive Player of the Year after leading the conference with 14 goals. He scored the game-winning goal in both the conference tournament semifinal and the final, moments that led to him being chosen as the conference tournament MVP.

He also scored seven goals for the Annapolis Blues, a National Premier Soccer League team, in their inaugural season last summer.
