St. Martin's-in-the-Field Commencement Ceremonies

St. Martin’s-in-the-Field Episcopal School (SMES) held carpool celebrations for preschool through grade 7 on June 1 and 2. An eighth-grade commencement ceremony followed on June 2. While it wasn’t the typical SMES graduation, the students were greeted with Class of 2020 face masks, flowers and poster board signs.  They paraded to the back of the school where they viewed the ceremony from their car sunroofs and each received their graduation certificate and gifts.  Speeches were made by Head of School Jamey Hein and two students who were honored with special awards.
