Storytime And A Craft With Lauren Burke Meyer

Join Park Books for a Sunday storytime and craft with author Lauren Burke Meyer on Sunday, April 14, from 11:00am-noon.

In Meyer’s book “Charlie STEPs UP to LACROSSE,” Charlie learns that we all have something a bit unique and special to contribute to the team’s success.

After the reading, kids will be able to enjoy lacrosse-themed sensory kits and coloring sheets of the book cover. Parent supervision is required when using the sensory bins.

Books will be available onsite. To ensure a copy is available to you, consider preordering using the link on the Park Books website.

There’s nothing more Charlie hates than ballet. However, her mother insists she be more ladylike and stop playing sports with her brother and his friends. You can imagine Charlie’s delight when she stumbles upon her first lacrosse practice with girls her age with varying heights and builds – all with something a bit unique and special to contribute to the team’s success.

Lauren Burke Meyer is the author of “Charlie STEPs UP to LACROSSE.” She's also the founder of the Lauren's Law blog and a regular contributor of Naptown Scoop, Chesapeake Family magazine, and the Severna Park Voice.
