The Sweeney Center Gives New Life To Anyone Coping With Loss

In honor of Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month, the Bill Sweeney Charity held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for The Sweeney Center on October 3. Located in Arnold, the facility is named after Dr. William “Bill” Sweeney, a former perinatologist at Luminis Health Anne Arundel Medical Center.

The Sweeney Center is the home of SilverLeaf Kids play therapy and SilverLeaf Counseling Services, which provides bereavement care to parents and their families.
