University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center (UM BWMC) team members cared for the community in many ways this holiday season. Team members from across the region chose to give back to the community through donations of toys, food, coats and volunteer support:
UM BWMC adopted and provided holiday gifts to 122 angels for The Salvation Army Central Maryland's Angel Tree program.
Over 700 pounds of food were collected in support of Leadership Anne Arundel's fourth annual food collection benefiting the Anne Arundel County Food Bank.
University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Group - Primary Care and Population Health teams provided over 50 meals including turkeys, pies and Hungry Harvest produce boxes to patients most in need.
Team members collected over 60 coats, plus scarves, hats and gloves, to benefit Orphan Grain Train.
