Widowed? Register now for a gathering of widows and widowers.
Saturday, June 19, 2021 11:30 am to 1:30 pm
Picnic area behind the gathering space meeting room
Recently widowed? Confused? Crying? Angry? You may be riding a roller coaster of emotions; or you may be numb to everything around you. Whatever you are feeling, thinking and experiencing, please know that God is with you, and He understands it is all part of your grief journey. Come share your story with others who have experienced the death of a spouse.
Widowed some time ago? Your life is forever changed. It doesn’t matter how long ago; triggers can bring fresh pain. But, you have gotten through the worst of the grief, and you have made a new life for yourself. Come support the more recently widowed, and share how you have gotten through the bad times and found your way to your new life.
Feel free to bring a picture or special memento of your loved one.
Bring your lunch. You might also want to bring your favorite camp/folding chair. Bottled drinks and dessert will be provided. Please register by Tuesday, June 15, so that we can plan for the proper number of attendees.
To register or if you have questions, please contact Rosanna Farley at

Brought to you by St. John’s Grief Support.
