After winning two straight state championships, Severna Park found the playoff road full of pitfalls and pain the last two seasons. But the Falcons feel like they can return to form in 2024.

In central Anne Arundel County, there is a football team that is ranked in the top 100 in the country, another that went to the 4A state championship game, a team that just made a giant leap to the Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association (MIAA) B Conference, and a team that is relying on new energy and enthusiasm to get back to its glory days.

Last year, the boys soccer teams at Severna Park, Broadneck, Severn and Spalding finished with winning records, and there is reason to be optimistic about their potential for 2024.
