The Earleigh Heights Volunteer Fire Company’s annual carnival is in town through July 20. The longstanding annual community event offers fun for all ages with dizzying rides, fun games, iconic concessions including snowballs, and more. Menacing clouds and spotty showers didn’t stop a small crowd of thrill-seekers from coming out to enjoy all the carnival had to offer on Friday, July 12. The forecast for the remaining four nights of the carnival is shaping up to be hot, in typical July fashion, with the best chance for clear skies toward the weekend.
