Blind Student To Perform During Free Recital At AACC

Posted

Anne Arundel Community College will host a braille music awareness recital featuring pianist Tyler Shallue, a legally blind student with autism, on Saturday, December 3, at 11:00am in the college’s humanities building, room 112. The recital is free. Using braille music code, visually impaired musicians can read and compose music. Shallue will play compositions by Johann Sebastian Bach, Claude Debussy and Ludwig van Beethoven.

The Severna Park Voice is planning to share a story on the braille music program in January.
