Lake Shore 15U Team Wins Multiple Tournaments

The Lake Shore 15U Pony All-Stars baseball team had a successful summer season, going 11-1 while winning the Linthicum Ferndale, Lake Shore and Brooklyn Park tournaments, respectively. Lake Shore players Cole Harrison, Hunter Wargo, Colin Mcdermott, Evan Brown, Brendan Duncan, Matthew Smith, Alex Thomas, Michael Dixon, Calvin Cochran, Austin Suska, Jayden Harris, Chase Hartlove, Mason Schaffer, Cooper Martin and Garrett Martin were coached by Brett Harrison, Brian Martin and Claude Dunan.

After suffering a one-run defeat early in the season, Lake Shore rattled off ten straight wins, while outscoring their competition by 99 runs. The highlight of the season was winning the Linthicum Ferndale Tournament, played at Joe Cannon Stadium.

The coaches were very proud of how selfless the boys were, trusting one another and playing any position they were asked. All in all, it was a memorable season that the boys can always remember as many will embark on their high school journeys in the fall.
