Lighten Up: The Voice’s Annual Holiday Contest Is Back

The holiday season transforms many homes into winter wonderlands adorned with seasonal décor. To honor the homeowners who deck out their homes for their community to enjoy, the Severna Park Voice introduced the inaugural holiday lights contest last year. Voters chose Jim and Jeanine Malena, owners of a home on Rustling Oaks Drive, as the inaugural contest winners.

Help us choose the 2022 winner, who will receive a $100 gift card to Severna Park Taphouse. How will it work? The contest will take place over two rounds. During the first round, we encourage anyone to send us one or more photos of their holiday lights display and home address. We will share the photos online and the top five vote-getters will advance to round two. Following another round of votes, the winner will be announced on our website and social media pages.

Send photos and details to spvnews@severnaparkvoice.com. Each entry must be for a home in Severna Park, Arnold or Millersville. The deadline for entries is December 6.
