Nathan Volke To Speak At Greater Pasadena Council Meeting May 16

Anne Arundel County Councilman Nathan Volke, of District 3, will be the featured speaker at the Greater Pasadena Council’s monthly meeting on May 16 from 7:00pm-8:30pm in the Eastern District Police Station’s community room at 204 Pasadena Road.

Volke will discuss the proposed 2024 county budget and other issues of interest to the district.

Additionally, the Greater Pasadena Council will focus on:

  • Proposed land use and zoning changes for Pasadena

  • Duvall Highway sidewalk project

  • Highway safety and beautification

  • Cox Creek

  • School redistricting

  • Sale of Brumwell’s Flea Market site and proposed development

  • Senior assisted living facility proposed for the intersection of Edwin Raynor and Mountain Road

  • Utility poles on Fort Smallwood and Mountain roads

“There is a lot going on in Pasadena right now and the Greater Pasadena Council is focusing on a number of issues,” said John Spencer, GPC president.  “Attending a GPC meeting is a great opportunity for meeting your neighbors, learning about what’s happening in the community and making your voice heard.”
